Panguitch Ice Breaker

Last Friday and Saturday, we went to Panguitch for a baseball tournament. Taylor got to pictch.
He also plays first base. He is my little south paw lefty! (OK he is not little any more)

Friday was good, but Saturday was cold so we kept wrapped up in our warm blankets.

Whitney having a temper tantrum. She was ticked I kept taking pictures of her while she was mad.
One of these players is not like the others.....

From Livestock to Broadway

We have been really busy this past week. Taylor played in three baseball games, plus Taylor and Emily had animals in the Dixie Junior Livestock Show, Emily had a musical theatre recital and the rehearsals that go along with it, and I had classes and one final during this crazy time and two finals next week. Whitney was actually the most excited for the livestock show. She was counting down the days until she could go. She is definately her father's child when it comes to animals. She said she would be sad for the lamb after the livestock show because she would "miss the little guy"!
Emily and her lamb Oreo.

This was Emily's first year showing a lamb. (Last year she had a hog) She did so well! Her lamb was so calm. There were a couple of kids with lambs in her group that kept acting up, but Emily had great control the whole time.

Taylor and his un-named hog.

Taylor showed show much improvement over last year in showing his hog. He had so much confidence and the hog minded him so well. We were very proud.

Taylor's hog sold for $500. Emily did not end up selling her lamb because they added a Saturday matinee for her musical theatre recital "Broadway Dreams". Whitney was excited because the lamb is now back. They will take it to another show.

The musical theatre recital was pretty amazing. Emily had a solo in Broadway Baby from the "Follies", she was in the chorus in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", and she was one of the orphans in "Annie". After the show we took this picture of Miss Hannigan with all her orphans. Emily is on the left.

Where Did Time Go?

O.K., I am a crappy poster. We have been busy as usual, and April will be a very busy month for us too. School has been going well. I have been a little overwhelmed having two intense classes, but it has been really good. I have enjoyed what I have learned in both classes. I have three tests next week, so we'll see if I'm still alive at the end! I have applied to both Dixie State and Mohave Community College to nursing school, but won't find out anything until probably the end of May; meanwhile, we will just keep our fingers crossed!
Baseball season begins=FINALLY=this month! I am really excited to sit out and kick back and watch Taylor play some baseball!! (Of course this means almost every day I will be gone from at least 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and dinner will consist of hot dogs and nachos) It is a busy time, but I love it! Emily will be busy with extra dance rehearsals preparing for her Musical Theatre recital at the end of the month. Then of course, is the Dixie Junior Livestock show coming up. Emily will be showing a lamb, and Taylor a hog. They will also be down at the farm a lot walking their animals.
Who knows what we will do for our anniversary on the 24th....wait I know, I will just have finished finals, then we will be at the livestock show during the day, and Emily's musical theatre recital at night...how romantic...

Scrapbook Retreat

The last weekend in January, I went to a wonderful scrapbook retreat in an amazingly beautiful cabin just on the east side of Zion National Park. Because I have been so busy with school, work, and family, I didn't get all of my scrapbook stuff out. I just took a bunch of pictures to sort through and of course, homework.
Terance's cousin Angie came and she brought her friend Mary, who is utterly hilarious.

Terance's sister Michelle brought us all rock star drinks, the we started drinking at 10:30 at night. Yeah, we got a little bit buzzed. I don't think I have laughed so hard in such a long time! We stayed up until 4:00 in the morning--not necessarily scrapbooking, but laughing until we were crying!

The rockstar drinks even had me showcasing my talents..... It was a blast--the retreat/Michelle/Angie/Mary/Rachel combination!

Whitney Turns 4 Years Old

For Whitney's 4th birthday, the whole St. George family went to Pirate Pizza to celebrate. Whitney loved opening her presents!!!

What girl wouldn't want a pair of Hello Kitty boots to go walk the pigs in? That is ultimate style!

She blew out ALL the candles on her first try!

The whole St. George family--the Melville's, the Riggs' and the Sullivan's.

All the kids loved going and playing the games. The noise and lights are a bit much for me though.

Whitney loved playing on the little kids playground.

I stole a little snuggle before dinner.

I also got to hang out with my 'other' boyfriend! It was a great little party. The next day Whitney said she wanted it to be her birthday again so she could go to Pirate Pizza and play and get more presents!

New Post--Finally--I guess

I get the gold star for not posting anything forever. I don't like to post if I don't have a picture. I think just my words are kind of, well, boring! I am taking 2 classes this semester; Anatomy and Pathophysiology. They are both really cool classes, but a lot of work. Other than that, I feel like things don't change too much. Taylor=baseball, Emily=dance, Whitney=trouble. I am grateful for Campbell's soup for nights when I don't want to cook dinner, grateful for spagettios for days I am actually home and don't want to make lunch, and sausage dogs on days I don't want to do breakfast. O.K.---so I hardly ever make breakfast. Confession time, I had probably been married for over 10 years before I ever made pancakes!! Terance is the breakfast king. I only make scrambled eggs (but not very often). He does sourdough pancakes, waffles, omelets, killer hashbrowns (with real potatoes-not frozen), hootenanny pancakes (german pancakes), poached eggs and more. Weekend mornings are awesome at my house (unless Terance is out of town).
I will try to post more often. If you want, I have an awesome picture of a brain being taken out of a skull!!!
